Import Bookmarks and Saved Content into Sendlore

The Import screen is built for bringing an existing backlog into Sendlore without manually resaving every link. Different platforms require different export files.

Supported list imports

Browser bookmarksExport bookmarks as an HTML file from your browser’s bookmark manager.
X / TwitterDownload your account archive and use data/bookmarks.js.
InstagramDownload your information as JSON and use saved_posts.json or saved_collections.json.
TikTokDownload your data as JSON and use user_data.json; Sendlore looks for Favorite Videos.
YouTubeUse Google Takeout and upload watch-later.csv or another playlist CSV.
Any list of linksPaste plain text containing HTTP or HTTPS URLs.

Import a library

  1. Open Import in Sendlore.
  2. Choose the source that matches your export.
  3. Upload the export file or paste a list of links.
  4. Review the detected items. Existing URLs are marked as duplicates where Sendlore can identify them.
  5. Choose Light import or Full AI when your plan allows it.
  6. Start the import and leave the page open until the import progress finishes.

Light import vs Full AI

Light import keeps the links immediately without spending capture credits for full processing. Richer summaries can fill in later as credits allow. Full AI attempts richer processing during the import and can use one or more credits per item depending on the source.

If Full AI would exceed the current credit balance, later items can fall back to Light saves rather than disappearing.

Review duplicates before importing

The import screen checks your library for matching normalized URLs and marks items it believes are already present. Use the review controls to skip existing items or deliberately import them when you want another copy.

Documents and ZIP archives

The Import screen can also hand supported documents to Sendlore’s document reader. Modern PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files may be converted and saved directly.

ZIP uploads are not currently supported in the live Import UI. Extract the archive first and upload the inner .html, .json, .csv, .txt, .md, or supported document file.

Common import errors

  • File too large: imports are limited to 25 MB per uploaded file.
  • Older Office format: save .doc, .ppt, or .xls as .docx, .pptx, or .xlsx.
  • No text found: the file may be a scan or pictures only.
  • Unsupported ZIP: extract it first.
  • Individual item failed: the Import screen reports the failed URL and the captured error so you can retry selectively.
