Getting Started with Sendlore

A practical first-run guide to the current Sendlore app: save something useful, preserve your context, understand what happens while it processes, and retrieve it again.

1. Create your free account

Choose Start free and create an account using email and password, Google, or Apple. No payment card is required for the Free plan.

If email confirmation is requested, open the verification link sent to your inbox, then sign in if prompted. If you have an existing account, use Sign in instead.

After signing in, Sendlore may show a guided first-save experience. You can use it to save a URL or note and see when the item is ready to find, or skip it and use the Save button whenever you are ready.

2. Save your first item

Sign in to Sendlore and use the Save button. In the current app, the keyboard shortcut is N.

  1. Paste a URL or type a note into “Paste a link or write a note…”.
  2. Or choose Add a file to upload a supported image or document.
  3. Choose a folder now if you already know where it belongs; otherwise leave it unfiled.
  4. Press Save. For a plain URL, pressing Enter also saves it.

3. Add “Why saved” when it will help future-you

The optional Why saved field records your intent at the moment of capture. A short phrase such as “pricing page inspiration,” “research for onboarding,” or “dinner idea for Sam” can make the item much easier to retrieve later.

You can edit this context from the saved item later. It is optional; a save still works without it.

4. Know what happens after Save

Sendlore first keeps the source, then attempts to gather and process additional evidence. The amount it can capture varies by source.

Processing…The save is accepted and Sendlore is still reading or enriching it.
Light / waitingThe source and basic details are kept, but richer processing is waiting for available credits.
Partial / metadata-onlySendlore could preserve some useful details but could not fully read the source.
Needs attentionThe source could not be read well enough. The app shows a reason plus Retry, Open, or Remove actions where appropriate.
Do not judge a save by the summary alone.

The original source remains important. If the source is blocked, deleted, login-gated, script-only, or otherwise difficult to read, Search and Ask have less evidence to work with.

5. Understand the main library views

  • Home surfaces reminders, recent saves, folders, rediscoveries, and items that need attention.
  • Library is the full saved-content view, with filtering and browsing controls.
  • Folders give you lightweight manual organization without making perfect filing a requirement.
  • Unsorted is useful for material you saved quickly and want to organize later.

6. Find it again

Use Search when you want to locate saved items. Use Ask when you want Sendlore to write an answer across your saved material and show supporting sources.

  • Search by exact words when you remember them.
  • Search by partial memory: topic, source, platform, rough time, or why you saved it.
  • Use folder, platform, type, and time filters to narrow a large library.
  • Use Ask for questions that may require several saves, then follow the citations back to the source items.
