Sharing, Exporting, Account Data, and Billing Basics

Use these controls when you want to share one save, take your library out of Sendlore, manage connection keys, or understand how credits affect processing.

Create or revoke a public link for one save

  1. Open the saved item.
  2. Open its sharing control.
  3. Turn on the public link.
  4. Copy the generated link and send it only to people you intend to give access.
  5. Turn the public link off to revoke it.

When sharing is off, the note remains private to your account. When a public link is on, anyone with that link can read the shared item.

Copy or download one save

From the item’s More actions menu you can:

  • Copy as Markdown for pasting into another notes or writing tool.
  • Download as PDF using the item’s print/PDF export path.

Export your full library

Settings includes a Download my saves action. The current export produces:

  • a JSON archive containing the saved records; and
  • a Markdown bundle containing the notes in a portable text format.

Trashed items are included with a marker in the current owner-scoped export so the archive represents the account more completely.

Manage connection and API tokens carefully

The Chrome extension uses its own capture-scoped connection key. Settings can also expose personal API/sync tokens for other workflows. Treat these like passwords:

  • Copy a newly generated token when it is shown; the full value may not be shown again.
  • Do not paste tokens into support tickets or public screenshots.
  • Revoke a token you no longer use.
  • Replacing one token can disconnect integrations that still use the old value.

Credits affect enrichment, not whether the source can be kept

Standard processing generally consumes capture credits, while heavier carousels and media can cost more. When you run out of credits, new items can still be kept as Light saves with basic details and wait for richer processing later.

Search, sharing, export, and basic retrieval are not treated like per-save processing actions. Ask has plan-based usage limits rather than consuming capture credits per question.
