Library organization
Organize Saves, Use Folders, and Set Reminders
Sendlore does not require a perfect folder system. Use lightweight organization when it helps, leave quick captures Unsorted when it does not, and rely on retrieval plus reminders to bring useful material back.
Home, Library, and Folders
- Home is the return surface: reminders, recent saves, folder shortcuts, rediscoveries, and items that need attention.
- Library is the full browsing surface and supports filtering by folder, type, tags, status, attention state, and other attributes.
- Browse folders gives you a directory of your folders instead of forcing every task through one long list.
Use folders without turning filing into homework
You can choose a folder during capture, move a save later, or leave it Unsorted. The app can suggest folders for items in Unsorted and offers a Tidy workflow to accept or reject those suggestions.
Folder rules can also appear after repeated filing patterns. You can review and remove those rules in Settings.
Create folders for durable projects or areas you repeatedly return to. Do not create a new folder for every temporary thought.
Tags, item type, and status
Tags are useful for cross-cutting labels that should span folders. The item detail also carries status/organization controls so you can distinguish active, reviewed, done, archived, or otherwise classified material without changing the source itself.
Your own Why saved note is separate from generated summaries and should be used for personal intent, not taxonomy.
Set an in-app reminder
Open a saved item and use its reminder control to choose when you want Sendlore to bring it back. Upcoming reminders appear on Home and reminder filters are available in the Library.
- Use reminders for material that matters at a specific future time.
- Use folders/tags for durable organization.
- Use Search when you do not know when you will need the item again.
Archive and Trash are different
Archiving changes the item’s status without deleting the source. Items removed from the library go to Trash in the current app and can be restored. The Library may still include archived saves depending on the active view/filter, so use the status filters when you want to narrow them out.
A low-maintenance workflow
- Save quickly and add Why saved when the intent matters.
- File obvious project material immediately; leave uncertain items Unsorted.
- Review Unsorted occasionally and accept useful folder suggestions.
- Set reminders only for time-sensitive items.
- Use Search instead of adding more taxonomy when you can already describe what you remember.
